I’ve always laid my head wherever the day ended (and even where it began—I do love sleep): on the floor of tents, in caravans, in the back of Land Rovers, against the window of a plane, when I’m lucky. Of course also in my own bed in Zambia, and in a very comfortable one in Florida.
I started this transient exploration as a baby to two very unconventional and quite wild parents, Sharon and Phil. Twenty-four years later they remain much the same, as do I.
I still find myself laying my head in all kinds of places, with the certain joy of waking up somewhere new and finding someone new to share His presence with.
I’m sure I’ll be here until His coming. :)
